White Chip Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups Sunrise Baking Cocoa
  • ¾ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups White Chocolate Buttons (chopped to be chip size)
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cubes unsalted butter

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease cookie sheets.  In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition. Combine the cocoa, flour, and baking soda. Gradually stir into the creamed mixture. Finally, fold in chopped white chocolate. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until puffy but still soft. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. Makes about 2 dozen ample cookies.
