Chocolate Mug Cake
You may be asking yourself what is a chocolate mug cake and why do I want one. First, trust me when I say you need a chocolate mug cake. It is the ultimate sweet tooth satisfier that you whip up in under three mins. Mug cakes are a single serve dessert that has all the fudgy goodness of a dark chocolate lava cake without the mess of making chocolate lava cake.
Euphoria's chocolate mug cake recipe is a decadent ooey-gooey chocolatey treat that is egg free. You can use non-dairy milk and replace the yogurt with water to make a vegan version. And all you have to clean is a spoon and a mug. Enjoy!
Chocolate Mug Cake
¼ c all purpose flour
¼ c sugar
2 Tbs Euphoria Chocolate Sunrise Baking Cocoa
Generous pink of baking soda
Pinch of Salt
3 Tbs Milk (can use non-dairy milk)
2 Tbs Safflower Oil
1 Tb plain yogurt*
¼ tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp almond extract
Get your favorite microwave safe mug (or any mug) and add flour, sugar, Euphoria Chocolate baking cocoa, baking soda, salt and extracts. Mix until well incorporated and smooth with a spoon.
Place in microwave and cook for 1 min and 45 secs or until cake is done in the middle. The cake will puff up and may drip over the sides of the mug.
Once cooked drizzle with Ultra Sauce and enjoy.
*Replace milk with non-dairy milk and yogurt with water, plain non-dairy yogurt or apple sauce to make a vegan version.
