Fudgey Peanut Butter Crock-pot Cake

Bonnie Glass

Fudgey Peanut Butter Crock-Pot Cake is legendary in our family.

Trust me when I tell you that cake made in a crock-pot is a real thing. More importantly, when it is a rich gooey chocolate and peanut butter creation it is a thing you need. Luckily, it is easy to make and darn satisfying to eat.

Bonus, the recipe is easily adapted to a vegan dessert!

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 c sugar (for peanut butter cake)
  • 1/2 c sugar (for chocolate sauce)
  • 1/2 c all purpose flour
  • 1/3 c milk or non-dairy milk
  • 1 Tb veggie oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 peanut butter
  • 2 Tb Euphoria Chocolate Sunrise Baking Cocoa
  • 1 c boiling water
  • Instructions:

  • In a bowl combine 1/4 c sugar, flour, and baking powder.  In another bowl combine milk, peanut butter, oil, and vanilla.  Combine with dry ingredients and stir just until mixed.
  • Spray crock-pot with spray or oil.  Place in crock-pot and spread evenly.
  • In another bowl combine boiling water with 1/2 c of sugar and Euphoria Chocolate Company Sunrise Baking Cocoa. Once the sugar has dissolved pour over peanut butter mixture.
  • Cover and cook on high for 90 minutes to 2 hours. It is ready when the peanut butter cake is cooked and the chocolate is a sauce consistency.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream, if you would like.
  • Enjoy!
